The Grimoire of Marisa (グリモワールオブマリサ Gurimowāru obu Marisa) is the third official Touhou book. Its focus is mainly on spell cards of many characters with screen shots of that spell card from the games, and comments written in the perspective of Marisa Kirisame, as she has made this album or scrapbook. It has art by Moriki Takeshi and Genji Asai.

It also comes with a CD containing two original music tracks and some desktop wallpapers.

Touhou Gumon Shiki ~ Perfect Memento in Strict Sense (東方求聞史紀　～ Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, lit. "Eastern Histories by Hieda") is the second official Touhou book by ZUN. Compared to the first, Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red, it is quite serious in tone; focusing mainly on factual information about the world of Gensokyo.

Here, we see Gensokyo from the perspective of the (almost) normal human Hieda no Akyuu, a recorder of its history who lives in Gensokyo. Her descriptions show a quite different realm; one where things are described in terms of ‘threat levels’, and most Youkai are to be feared and avoided rather than laughed at. It deals primarily with the characteristics of the youkai as well as countermeasures that can be taken against them. However, everything recorded are only things within the range of Akyuu's knowledge.

Touhou Kourindou

~ Curiosities of Lotus Asia (東方香霖堂　～ Curiosities of Lotus Asia) is a series of side stories that complement the normal Touhou timeline.Written by ZUN and illustrated by Genji Asai, each story takes up four pages; one full-page artwork, three of mostly text.It's written from the point of view of Rinnosuke Morichika, proprietor of Kourindou, a little odds-and-ends store. Naturally, he has a lot of well-known "customers" in the store, especially Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame.A compilation was released on September 30, 2010 by ASCII Media Works.

During an interview with Dengeki Online in 2015[1], it was confirmed that Curiosities of Lotus Asia would continue its serialization in the Touhou Official Magazine Strange Creators of Outer World.

Touhou Sangetsusei ~ Oriental Sacred Place (東方三月精　～ Oriental Sacred Place, lit. "Eastern Three Fairies") is the sequel to 東方三月精　～ Eastern and Little Nature Deity and 東方三月精　～ Strange and Bright Nature Deity from 2009-05 (CompAce July 2009). It was drawn by Makoto Hirasaka and written by ZUN.

Volume 1 was released on March 20th, 2010, along with a CD. Volume 2 was released on March 26th, 2011, including another CD.

On April 20, 2011, Makoto Hirasaka announced on his website that he has been hospitalized, and that Oriental Sacred Place would go on hiatus. [1] He has since recovered after two months.The series concluded with chapter 18 (Comp Ace April 2012), and it was revealed that there would be no further serialization ofTouhou Sangetsusei.

Touhou Sangetsusei ~ Strange and Bright Nature Deity ( 東方三月精 ～ Strange and Bright Nature Deity , lit. " Eastern Three Fairies ") was drawn by Makoto Hirasaka from 2006-05 to 2009-01 and written by ZUN .

Until 2006-05 Eastern and Little Nature Deity was drawn by Nemu Matsukura . However, Matsukura had to give up the project for health reasons, and Makoto Hirasaka took it over. After Hirasaka took over, the comic was renamed. The comic was serialized in a magazine called MediaMix Game Magazine. [1]

On Jan 26, 2008, the first volume of Strange and Bright Nature Deity went on sale. Volume 2 was released on Feb 18, 2009, and volume 3 was released on August 28, 2009. Each volume came with a CD ( 1 , 2 , 3 ).

Touhou Sangetsusei ~ Eastern and Little Nature Deity ( 東方三月精 ～ Eastern and Little Nature Deity , lit. Touhou Bougetsushou ~ Tsuki no Inaba to Chijou no Inaba

(東方儚月抄　～ 月のイナバと地上の因幡) is a series of comedic 4koma strips drawn by Toshirira Arata and serialized in Manga 4koma Kings Palette. Unlike other Touhou print works, ZUN is credited as "原案" (the base of setting and character design) instead of "原作" (scenario).

Touhou Bougetsushou (東方儚月抄) is a loosely interconnected storyline about the Lunarians that includes Silent Sinner in Blue, Cage in Lunatic Runagate, and Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth. Bougetsushou (儚月抄) can be translated as "Ephemeral Moon Vignette"; compare with the main title of its predecessor 東方永夜抄　～ Imperishable Night (Touhou Eiyashou), where "永夜抄" translates to "Eternal Night Vignette". Note that in the title, "Inaba" (イナバ) (of the Moon) is written in katakana, but "Inaba" (因幡) (of the Earth) is written in kanji.

The story is written by ZUN, with illustration by Aya Azuma. It introduces Kasen Ibaraki, aka Kasen Ibara, a girl of unknown nature and ability who seems to have some sort of connection to the existing cast.

Forbidden Scrollery is a Touhou official comic published by Kadokawa in Comp Ace that began publishing on October 26, 2012. The story is written by ZUN, with illustrations by Moe Harukawa . It introduces the human book renter and collector Kosuzu Motoori as the main character residing at a library called Suzunaan , with the story centered around her mysterious ability to decipher any book no matter the language or script, and her assortment of various rare and dangerous demon books .
